The application of laser scanning technology in industry, infrastructure, and transportation offers a wide range of possibilities. This is enabled not only by acquiring a large volume of measurement data from the very first scanning position but also crucially by the high accuracy of these data. Scanning can be performed during the operation of facilities and equipment, as well as in a short time frame for large industrial sites. This allows measurements to be taken during brief downtimes or maintenance periods, enabling precise mapping of critical areas. Additionally, measurements can be conducted from a significant distance, which is especially important in environments containing hazardous, dangerous, or flammable substances.
Beyond inventorying existing operational assets, this technology can be used to monitor locations and structural components exposed to forces that may affect their strength and load-bearing capacity. It also allows for rapid assessment of technical condition. Another advantage of laser scanning is the ability to perform clash detection during design within existing facilities. The acquired data provide valuable insights for designers, enabling precise integration of new installations, equipment, or structures into existing infrastructure while accurately estimating the quantities of materials required for project execution.
When performing measurements and preparing documentation in both digital and paper formats, we ensure full collaboration with the Client. Depending on needs, we deliver results as point clouds, 2D documentation, 3D CAD, and BIM models. Upon Client request, we also provide analyses of deformations, wear of individual components, as well as collision detection and analysis. For industrial facilities, we additionally prepare visualizations, animations, and virtual tours.
